This is my way of keeping myself updated & always ready for newer challenges. With over 20 years of valuable experience, I keep myself open to new ideas. My work experience spans across sales, franchising & marketing, covering various industries, viz FMCG, Insurance, Retail, Education and Consumer Durables.
The best thing about marketing is that no two days are the same. There’s something new to do every day. Each campaign requires one to be creative, have a unique approach and design in such that the desired results are achieved. I have got to work on different functions like branding, PR, social media, websites, media planning & buying, events, exhibitions, SEO, SEM, lead generation, customer loyalty, CRM, ORM, organic & paid campaigns, analytics, remarketing, ATL, BTL etc. In the process I have been instrumental in building powerful brands.
My belief in systems & processes is very strong & hence I develop SOP’s for every function in my department for smooth functioning & standardization. I also facilitate systematic working although out, even in my absence.
Technology is something we cannot ignore in today’s world. Staying abreast with latest technology, as well as automatizing processes to reduce human dependence is of prime importance. Hence, I have automated many processes with software’s where ever possible. I have been part of core team to implement SAP in Next Retail, automated admission process, implemented Salesforce for better lead management at Universal Education.
Being myself, I keep moving ahead with my customer centric & problem-solving approach.
At Brand Egos, a digital marketing agency, we provides services related to online marketing and advertising. We work with businesses of all sizes to help them establish and maintain an online presence, build brand awareness and generate leads and sales.
Brand egos offers a wide range of services, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and more. Our goal is to help businesses reach their target audience, increase their online visibility, and drive traffic to their website.
A short yet intrigue stint. I presented and showcased the path for the brand to grow in the Indian market. Right from identifying the target consumer & creating buyer persona’s to identifying marketing mix and the content strategy for the brand. This in addition to executing the existing campaigns across various social media channels.
(8 Years). I joined when the organization was beginning to align itself to growth. Universal has no marketing department & setting up the entire marketing team here was fun. Handpicking talent and grooming them to create a success driven team was part of the process. From just two designers to a complete inhouse design team, marketing managers- executing social media content, developing, updating and managing 25 websites, handling SEO, search campaigns along with print and outdoor campaigns.
At the top of the funnel creating awareness for the brand leading to more inquiries and admission. An always on campaign leading to engagement & excitement among the existing customers (parents). At the bottom of the funnel lead generation and entire lead management process; right from lead generation to filtering the leads by call centre and closure by admission team was under the preview of my department. For this I set up an in-house 4 sitter call centre with one team lead. Realizing that lead generated from various sources needed a better management, I introduced salesforce CRM.
Got an opportunity to creating certain event with fanfare which later became most sought after properties viz “Winter Carnival”, “Soul of Universal”, “Lex-Loci” etc.

It was a great experience to be part of the start-up which was still at the drawing board stage & to see it grow into a full-fledged 1500 Cr organization with 550+ showrooms pan India. The learning was immense.
This was a Videocon venture into electronics retail and was among the first in electronic retail sector in the Indian market.
Planning & managing campaigns to achieve footfalls & conversions were prime role. Weekly campaigns, seasonal campaigns, campaigns for special occasions & category campaigns were driven with strong ATL and BTL activities across India.
Huge media consumption was backed by aggressive media buying and media planning.
